Installing the Worx Plugins

Overview:

You have downloaded the Worx Plugins and need to install them on a workstation.

Before You Start:

The Worx Plugins come as one installer. All the plugins install, but only the ones covered by your annual subscription will start.

• Download the installer from the Worx Plugin Download page.
• Close every AutoCAD, CADWorx, Plant 3D and BricsCAD window.
• Install while logged in as the person who will use the software, with full administrator rights.

Steps:

1. Go to your download folder and find Worx_Plugins_Setup.exe.
2. Right-click it and choose Properties. If there is an Unblock box at the bottom of the window, tick it, then click OK.
3. Right-click the file again and choose Run as Administrator. The installer starts.
4. Several windows will ask for input during the install. Answer each one to continue.
5. The installer also installs a few licensing drivers. Click OK on each of those windows to close them.

When the install finishes, activate your license:

• One computer: Activating Software Standalone License
• Network license: Activating Software Network Licensing on a Client Machine

Notes:

• The ECE License Manager installs with the Worx Plugins. A network license server only needs the License Manager, which has its own installer. See Installing and Activating Software Network Licensing on a Server Machine.
